Application:
Ethylene glycol monomethyl ether: mainly used as a solvent for oils, nitrocellulose, synthetic resins, alcohol soluble dyes, and ethyl cellulose. It is used as a quick drying agent and coating diluent in the coatings industry, as a penetrant and leveling agent in the printing and dyeing industry, as an additive in the fuel industry, as a dyeing assistant in the textile industry, and as an intermediate in the organic synthesis of pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
Diethylene glycol monomethyl ether: mainly used as a high boiling point solvent for inks, dyes, resins, cellulose, and coatings. Adding it to coatings can make it easy to flow, brush, and level. It can be used as an extractant for hydrocarbons, an intermediate for preparing ester derivatives in the organic synthesis industry, as well as an intermediate for automotive brake fluids, chemical reagents in analytical chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and pesticide organic synthesis.
Triethylene glycol monomethyl ether: mainly used in brake fluid, but can also be used as an organic synthetic raw material.
